The Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew are two very popular Bangkok tourist attractions. Wat Phra Kaew is also known as the Emerald Buddha. This is one of the most respected Buddhist temples in the world. It is located very close to a Grand Palace.
The Emerald Buddha was created 500 years after the real Buddha experienced Nirvana. The history of the Emerald Buda Temple is very interesting, and the structure is even more impressive when seen firsthand.
The Grand Palace
is where the 18th century kings of Thailand used to live. King Rama I
started the construction of the palace in 1782. Ever since, many
additions have been constructed. As a result it has significantly
increased its size. Bangkok is a beautiful tourist location with many
ancient Buddhist temples.
